Description
Important Sterling silver legumiera of circular shape with ribbed body and lid decorated with stylized and engraved foliate motifs. The body is partly open-worked with four small bases desinent of a volute curl and two curved handles. The lid is centered by a ring-shaped grip; the legumiera is completed by a warming dish in silvered copper. The item was made in London in 1844 by silversmith Robert Garrard.
