Description

(EN) Circular tortoishell box with shiny gold mounts, the cover  set with a micromosaic plaque depicting doves on blue background within a shiny gold frame. The micromosaic attributed to Giacomo Raffaelli (fl. 1753-1836), Rome, circa 1785-1800.

(IT) Scatola circolare in tartaruga con montature in oro lucido, il coperchio incastonato con una placca in micro mosaico raffigurante colombe su sfondo blu entro una cornice in oro lucido. Il micromosaico attribuito a Giacomo Raffaelli (att. 1753-1836), Roma, 1785-1800 circa.
